This is a small video I took while walking over the Pulaski Bridge. Cars going through the toll for the Midtown Tunnel on the Queens side.

Not making a point. Just some ramblings.

Well, in case you know or don't, I was in Croatia for about 2 weeks. I've since been back for over 2 weeks as well but I've been sick since coming back.

Anyways, I have many pics to show you all but not gonna happen here. When I'm done, I'll post a link for the pics. Overall I had the best time I've ever had on a vacation. Going back next year. I'll tell some stories later.

For now here is a random pic.

Here is another video I did out of boredom. This was taken driving over the Williamsburg Bridge from Manhattan to Brooklyn.
This is cool if you've never driven over it or have seen it for that matter.

Heya! check this out. I was playing with some of the settings on my new P&S camera today and discovered that it can do stop motion video. It can only do 1 and 2 second intervals which isn't bad. I had some fun with it today, I recorded myself walking home from the train station. It's typically a 5-7min walk cause of 1 Blvd that you usually have to wait for the light, but the video is quite fast. Taken at 2second intervals. Next time I'll do 1sec.

Enjoy my first.

Here is an update with my mom. She is doing really good now. Going to therapy and making great progress.
I have some pics to post. 1st is a xray of the plate they installed into her wrist and then the after surgery incision that is healing quite well.

I saw the movie The Happening on Friday night. And all I can say is WHAT THE F*CK?
Not that it was bad, just not great. Interesting concept, plants in the NE of the US decide to go ape-shit on us and just make us kill ourselves. Watch out for the breeze.

Then on Sat my friend and I decided to hit the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. It was nice and humid! I felt like I came out of a gross sweat shower. My friend fared better than me, but she too was kinda yucky feeling. She just looks better than me sweating. HAHA.
Afterwards, we came back to my place so I could shower and we were thinking of seeing the Incredible Hulk. We decided to skip that. We went to NJ for some dinner then go back to her place and watched Oceans 11 on TV. We both kinda were snoozing in between and during commercials. We also go caught in the heavy downpour 2x. I was soaked. Nothing like squishy sneakers. ew.

Here some pics.

Happy Fathers Day!

We took my dad out for lunch to a place called London Lennies, a place for fish.
Dad loves the fish. Good food, prices were reasonable and we all came out stuffed.
A good day out overall. Still not hungry 4hrs after lunch. Ugh
And of course, some pictures.

So... I had another awesome weekend in Montreal this past weekend. I went to see the F1 Grand Prix. What an awesome race. The driver I was hoping to win, won. And made history in F1. Being the first Polish driver ever in F1 and as of right now, ahead in the championship standings.

I got a little crispy from the sun, I need to learn to reapply sunblock more often. Oh well, I'll learn my lesson eventually.

For now, I'm just going to post some pics.

This morning my mom took off her splint to change the bandage and asked me to help. Holy CRAP! Her arm was so black and blue. She looked like she was either a member of Fight Club or some people who do special effects makeup had their way with her. Kinda made her look zombie-ish Check out these pics.

Later in the evening...

So, my sister came down today complaining about her stuffy nasal passages, she was finally willing to try out the Neti Pot. WHEEEEE! Of course I had to film it. She looks kinda funny doing it. Because as she jams it in her nostril, it pulls up on her upper lip pretty hard causing her to make a funny face.
Here you can see for yourself.

So....how was your Memorial Weekend? I for once actually did something instead of sit around the house and BBQ. I had some plans that were lame like grocery shopping and sitting on my ass watching the love handles grow.

2 friends of mine talked me into going to the Jersey Shore. I am glad they did. I needed to sit out in the sun for a while and get some color on this almost translucent body I have. I went on Sat getting some of my color. Good thing too, I need to get a base tan cause I'm going to the Mediterranean region for my vacation, and don't want to get all crispy.

So, I'm happy a bit. On Monday, I went to the movies and saw the new Indiana Jones film. Pretty damn good. Go see it, don't download it. It's worth the admission.

I really don't have much else to report so I think I'll just insert another random pic.

So, a few weeks back my sister and I found some random vending machine but didn't know what it dispenses. It was lacking information on what it was selling and for how much. Just had a coin slot. You take a guess as to what it was selling. Oh and the coin slot was vertically placed, that was odd.

Had too add this as well.
When I first saw this pic, all that came to mind was a skit from SNL when Eddie Murphy was playing an adult Buckwheat from the Little Rascals, and was doing a commercial for his new album.

The song that comes to mind was "Wookin puh nub" hahaha
All I remember from it was Eddie singing

Wookin puh nub in all da wrong places
Wookind puh nub

and here is the picture that i associate it too
As if my staying home wasn't enough. My mom went ahead and decided to give me something to do. And that is to take care of all her Medical paperwork and make her appointments and stuff cause she broke her wrist. Of all the low down sneaky ways to keep you occupied. hehehe. Poor mom, its unfortunate that she broke it, but at least it was her left hand and she's a righty. Worst part is that she will need surgery as far as we know to get it all repaired. As with almost all my posts, some pics.

Oooh, thought I'd add this tidbit as well. Last week my friend and I were in New Rochelle handling some band business and we drove past SHREK! Poor Guy, I guess the movies don't pay him enough to live in Beverly Hills.

I'm sure this is overkill and been played out already, but I want to finish this training post on The DOs & DON'Ts of Babycare

Lesson 2
Hello again.

Even though I'm not posting often, I do hope that some of my ramblings are entertaining. This new post I hope, will be that for you as well.

I've been having sinus problems and that + allergies been messing me up. A friend told me about this thing called the Neti Pot that you jam in your nose and using a mixture of salt and really warm water, you pour it in your nose and it helps flush out all this extra crap you got, some mucous and some of the allergens that get caught up there and stuff.

Believe it or not, i was freaking about it when my friend told me she uses it daily, but i figure why not give it a try and maybe it will help me with my issues.
So here is the video my sister took of me performing the act.

I'll tell you something, I wasn't sure what the resutlt was going to be. But I really kept and open mind about it. After using, I was clear for the rest of the night last night. I will use this quite a bit during my allergy season, and off season whenever I want full use of my nasal passages.

Besides who wouldn't want to use a product that on the side of the box advertises as a NASAL DOUCHE.

Well, at least I'm doing something while on unemployment. My sister's company had 4tix up for grabs to see a Mets game today. Mets vs Nationals. (mets lost 1-0 oh well)
My parents, myself and my friend Angie went to the game to kill a few hours. I haven't been to a baseball game in about 22years. Last game I saw was 1st game of the Mets World Series where again, they lost 1-0. The weather held out, and in the later innings we got quite a bit of sun. Great photo ops. Was really interested in going since this is the last year for Shea Stadium. New stadium is being built right next door. Kinda weird to look to ur left and see the top of the other stadium right there.
Next stop, Yankee Stadium. Never have been in my life and again, they are tearing it down cause another one is being built.
Here are some pics
Enjoy

This is an email that I was typing to my sister pretty much in real time as I was traveling in the subway. English is cut off here and there cause I'm typing on a Blackberry Curve

Enjoy

So I ran out early on accident to the shrinky dink. I thought it was 11am but calendar was 11:30. Ok great now I'm early. Now I'm at bedford ave and no L is ruuning into manhattan. Now I already parked in WillyB, I have too get on L to the G to the R or W. And G runs like turds stuck in tar. V comes after every 2 Es. Here comes E#2. Now I wait for V to 34st then wait for R or W. How long will that take? On the bright side I helped out a cute young German couple trying to get to Ground Zero. A guy on the train told them to follow this crabby bitchy lady back to the G to the 7 train, but they didn't really get him off the bat. And crabass lady bolted from the train at Lorimer. They asked me for help and told them just to follow me. We spoke as much as we could. I liked them and want them as friends. Hehehehe.

They told me their plans and I tried to break down some good shopping to them as well. I missed the V train at ELY. Cause doors were closing as I just saw the train. So I waited with them for the E and sent my new Kraut friends on their way. I miss them already. Haha

So now I have an old Chinese lady staring at my crotch and smiling, I guess cause I'm a pair of jeans with hole right there. Haha. She keeps glancing over. Little freak. Bet she still like to wear little school girl outfits and suck on lolly pops at home for her man. Lol. I just laughed out loud literally. Hahahaha. Now she's sitting what looks like to be a gangsta pose. I swear tgo God.

Damn, she just got off the train. I'm still not at my transfer for the R. Doh. Don't even think I should go now and see if I can resched and not waste money on a short appt.

Update, I'm at 34st. Changing trains now. Damn, I'm getting a thumb cramp from this blackberry. Oooh cops with machine guns at 34st and a K-9 unit. Cute doggy

Update Update! At 34st I check fone and got VM. This is getting hairy. Anthony played hooky from work and wants to pickup he speaker cabinet from that that was redoing the tolex on it. Somewhere over the Whitestone Bridge.
Sooooo, since my appt went to shit, I will go to her office and resched, go home, go to Anthony's take a ride and get his cabinet.

Update 3. Spoke to shrinky dink, for 10 min, found out L trains OK now. Going home now, getting GPS, going to Ant's then get the cab. What a fiasco this has been. I learned that cute girls go to see shrinky dink too.
I'll attach a subway pic haha
Hope u appreciate my live coverage, painstakingly typed on a BB

I miss my Krauts.........

So I was going to start posting up some pics of some subway life that I've been taking with my new Blackberry Curve. The pictures aren't all the best qual from it, but it will do. Then something awesome happened, I got LAID OFF! WHEEEEEE!

Basically it happened on the 25th of April. I had a feeling something was going to happen, cause the company was in LAYOFF mode and 2 people from my office were cut the day before.

So anyways, I've been happy for over a week now. A lot of stress has fallen off my shoulders and I'm happier than I have been in 4 years. I still have to go in and out of the city at least once or twice a week so my plans for posting subway life pics will be saved.

Here is pics #1 and #2

I now will be updating a bit more often to talk about home life and other stuffs.

So, about a couple of weeks back, I got a new Dir of IT. At least he's making some major changes to the infrastructure that I like. But I'm still not happy. I hear that the company is downsizing again, I really really hope to God that I get cut. I really could use the time off and rest a bit. I've been frazzled for the last 6 years. I would gladly take unemployment right now. I can survive on it for a little while.

I know that I need to make some major changes in my life. I can't break my motivation-less streak. Something inside is just making me not welcome change in my life. Therapy so far hasn't shown me why exactly.

Oh well, the quest to find my motivation continues.

I think every once in a while I will show everyone how to take care of their babies.
Here is lesson 1.

2008-02-04

I love the snow. Unfortunately with all the damage we're doing to Mother Earth, I'm afraid we will be losing it forever while humans are around.

Once this planet has gotten rid of us and it can slowly get back to normal, then our region will have normal snow fall again. Damn thats depressing.

Well, at least this morning we had some. Took a quick picture of it on the way to work this morning. Too bad it won't accumulate.
enjoy.

So, this was a weird thing that happened on the subway today. First at the Rockerfeller stop some guy bolted off the train just as the train doors started closing. I guess he must have forgotten it was his stop or something. But then it happened 2 more times. At the 42nd St stop, 1 guy ran off after he realized it was his stop almost and the doors were closing and another man just completely missed it. He got off at 33rd st and had to go back a stop and all the while complaining how he missed his stop. It's your fault dude, SHUT UP!

I know this isn't exciting or anything. It was a HAD TO BE THERE moment, but funny how it happened 3x in a row pretty much. Maybe the first guy left a vibe of uncertainty that the other 2 picked up on. Hey strange shit like that happens. I think our brains somehow communicate with each other on their own. I'm thinking it's like the 100th monkey thing, but with a twist. Just google 100 monkeys and you'll know what I'm talking about. the story with the sand and yams.

This is a quick follow up to my last post. So I called my band member to tell him the horrible news and he was shocked and devastated as well. But he stopped to think about it and reasoned that the company would be stupid to stop making one of their best selling guitars in the most popular color. So after whining about it and stuff and looking at other online retailers for this guitar, we decided to hear it straight from them. We conference called Schecter and asked them about it. The rep said that "I've been hearing reports and rumors that were discontinuing that guitar and thats insane! Why on earth would we discontinue the most popular guitar from the most popular line that we have? Don't believe it, we may be short on stock I'm sure cause of the holidays but this is still in production." He said to find another retailer and don't bother with them anymore.

We called up the retailer afterwards to speak to Cust Serv and he put us on hold for a real long time. We just hung up, I was starving anyways and wanted to get lunch.

I'm so happy this was a lie! YaY, at least I can still get this guitar.
Peace and harmony resumes.

OMG, it happened again. My luck is just shitty sometimes. I procrastinate on purchases a lot, which is not a real bad thing necessarily. It really helps me determine if I really want to spend the money or if I really really want it. But now there is an item that I kinda need and as MY luck would have it, the manufacturer discontinued the item. This is a picture of it.

I need it now cause I have no backup guitar to play with. At least nothing thats up to spec now. I have an old guitar but it's really not that playable cause it has dead spots on the neck. I have another but it doesn't have the tone I need. And I'm trying to get rid of it.

So let this be a lesson to all of you. If you want something really bad, get it and deal with it afterwards. I waited a little too long and now this piece which really suited me perfectly and has all the right specs on it is gone.

Shoot me now please

HNY.
So it's the year of the RAT. YAY. I'm a rat. Means new beginnings and stuff. Well thats funny, cause I have a job interview coming up and I didn't even start to look for one yet. My name got dropped by an old colleague and then one thing led to another. So I hope something comes of it.

I've been sick since before Xgiving, some sort of cold or flu that just won't vacate my body. Damn Virii. Gotta make an appt to a Dr. so I can get rid of this damn thing.

So, no one reads this post. haha oh well, I'll keep myself entertained.

I have been doing quite a bit of photography lately. Back in Dec of 07 I was hired to take pics for company Xmas party (not my company). After all was said and done, pay was took little. Didn't realize all the work and time that went into it. Learned some hard lessons in photography as well. But thats a good thing right?

Went to an old friend's house from High School for a hang out between XMAS and NY. Part of an old science club gang that hung out. That was really fun, great foods, massaged her dog and presents all around. then I had to take some portraits of my friend Glenn cause he always complains that he doesn't have any descent pics of himself.

Now, back to the daily grind.

Oh, speaking of new beginnings... I hope to being posting at least once a week here. I have some trips and events planned for the year and want to write them and post up some pics.
PEACE out RATS.
